Hello! My name is Beverly and I live in Oklahoma City. I will be making the aran braid socks too. It seems to be a popular pattern! Looks like we will have several mini KALs within this. How fun. I bought some Fortissima Socka yarn in a nice, solid maroon for the socks. I'm multitasking too and am planning these to be a Christmas present for my mom. I'm glad you decided on a November deadline....maybe I won't be knitting Christmas morning - wait - scratch that...I probably still will be, but just not on these socks! Before I start, I've got to figure out how to adjust to fit my mom's size 9 wide feet. (ugh) Happy knitting everyone!
